Mortgage Lab Reflection
Finally, you are ready to purchase your first home. Buying a home can be exciting, overwhelming, risky, and just plain nerve racking. It is a large long-term decision and obligation. Because of this, you need to be prepared and educated on some of the aspects of purchasing a home before you commit to buying. In this project, we used different mathematical methods to help us further evaluate different mortgages. I just recently purchased my first home. Before I even met with a mortgage lender, I used many of the same tools that we used in our mortgage project to further clarify and inform me on how much I would be spending with different mortgage plans. This data gave me the knowledge and preparation that I needed to make a smart and informed decision.
